Internet Maintenance, COMPLETED at 12:50 PST

Maintenance has been completed and all services are operational. If you are experiencing problems, please open a ticket or call 1.949.215.1200 for emergency support.
The recently upgraded hardware cluster that hosts email.dynamic.net, webmail.dynamic.net, smtp.dynamic.net, as well as some UniBasic/dL4 Cloud Services, web sites and ProStores is being relocated to our Irvine data center this weekend.

Starting at 08:00AM Pacific, the affected servers will be shutdown and transported to Irvine where they will be installed and rebooted. Concurrently, we will relocate your IP addresses to the new data center so that the move is transparent to you and your customers. We anticipate that this process should take about 4 hours, however we are scheduling an 8-hour window to allow additional time for the IP relocation to be recognized world-wide.

You can determine if your specific website, ProStore or UniBasic/dL4 cloud service is affected by ‘pinging’ your website or server to get your IP address. Addresses beginning with 216.158.x.x are affected by this move. Services operating on IP addresses 173.0.x.x are not affected.

We will post updates on these maintenance windows, as well as their completion when services are up and running. You may check on the status of our network services, at any time, by viewing our status posts at:

mailfilter.dynamic.net is offline

At 10:00 PST, Dynamic is shutting down our primary Barracuda incoming Spam & Virus filter while the server is transported to our Irvine facility. There should be no disruption in your email deliveries as incoming emails to your domains will be processed by our backupmail.dynamic.net Barracuda. The primary server will be back online at 12:00 PST.

If you provide your own DNS service pointing your MX record(s) to Dynamic and you do not have backupmail.dynamic.net configured as a secondary mail server, your incoming email may be delayed.

The Aliso Viejo servers affected are:  Client Login services (SSN’s), email.dynamic.netwebmail.dynamic.net,smtp.dynamic.nettower.dynamic.netplesk9.dynamic.net and a set of UniBasic/dL4 cloud and disaster recovery servers.  You can determine if your system is affected by ‘pinging’ your website or server to get your IP address.  Addresses beginning with 216.158.x.x are in Aliso Viejo.

Late Saturday evening, February 8th, Dynamic Concepts is upgrading our network topology in our Irvine data center to add additional redundancy to our core routers and switches. When we test failover redundancy, brief outages may occur that could disrupt persistant connections, including Telnet, SSH and remote database connections.

You can determine if your system is affected by ‘pinging’ your website or server  to get your IP address.  Addresses beginning with 173.0.x.x are in Irvine.

These upgrades are part of a larger maintenance window, currently scheduled for Saturday morning, February 15th, when all remaining servers and services in Aliso Viejo will be moved to our new data center in Irvine. A separate notification and details will be forthcoming.
